Discovering an exciting world of India Tourism
We are a group of people who is very fond of travelling and exploring the varied cultures and traditions. This very nature of ours led us India- the land once called as the golden bird. After taking the trip we realised that India Tours is not just an ordinary travel, but a lifetime opportunity to experience the best of nature and man-made creations. We can say in short, that India Tourism is like indulging into something heavenly and very pure. We never before in our life had come across anything so majestic as the architectural beauty of Mughal remnants or the enticing view of the salubrious Sikkim, or the striking beauty of Khajuraho. The only expression I use again and again for India is , Oh, India you sheer beauty!
It is surprising to see how India Travel can be chosen in either of the ways. Be it a family trip, a religious destination, a summer resort, a trip to the hills or even spending of a lone quality time with your love on your honeymoon, India fits in all! There are various Domestic Packages for India offered by different tour operators. Though we have tried several of the tour packages available for India, but our personal favourite is the Indian Beach Holiday, the one we had chosen to blow off some heat last summer. It was a perfect summer holiday with an apt combination of sun, sand, sea, surf & yes not to forget the yummy seafood! India boasts of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With the Arabian Sea on the west and the Bay of Bengal on its east, one hardly needs any explanation on how beautiful these beaches would be.
The long coastline of India primarily includes the places like Goa, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The islands of Andaman and Lakshadweep are also blessed with some enchanting beaches. We went to Goa. I still get happy thoughts in mind whenever I think of Goa. Our resort was in Calangute, close to some of the main attractions like Dona Paula Beach and Baga Beach. Such superb beaches and what a great scenery. Being close to Maharashtra Goa also manages to retain a rugged look to it through its forts and churches. Fort Aguada stands an exemplary to this. The most appealing fact about Goa is its 105km long coastline bearing more than 40 beaches. Some of the most enchanting beaches of Goa are Baga Beach, Calangute Beach, Anjuna Beach, Miramar Beach, Dona Paula Beach and Sinquerim Beach. We had a blast, I must say. You must try the fried fish sold by the Beach shacks on the Baga Beach.
Anyway talking of the India tourism, I am reminded of a friend of mine who had chosen for a pilgrimage tour package for India. When she returned back, we were all shocked to find a remarkable change in her behaviour, which of course was in a good way. She was now a more patient, tolerant and mature girl. She accepted that, that trip proved to be miraculous for her. Her package included trip to Haridwar, Rishikesh and Delhi. She says it was beautiful to witness the evening Ganga Aarti, an important Hindu ceremony of light where the saint performs a kind of thanksgiving to the River Ganges. She found the trip to be very moving and peaceful to her soul.
She also bought some medicinal herbs from there, which she still uses to cure her minor health issues. This proves that India is totally a combo pack. Apart from the happiness and enjoyment that this country showers on its visitors, it should also be appreciated that any trip to India teaches some really good lessons of life. It tells you how life should be enjoyed to its fullest and come what may you should always thank god for what he has given to you rather than complaining for what you don’t have. I have surely learnt mine!
